Jamal Musiala believes Germany can build on their confidence after beating Scotland 5-1 in their Euro 2024 football opener.

‘We all have a lot of pressure on our shoulders. When we’re on the pitch, working together. You don’t feel the pressure. We don’t let winning get to our heads and we want to do the same on Wednesday.’ Musiala said ahead of the second game against Hungary. ‘We’ll look back at the game, see what we can do better and what we want. ‘

‘To win comfortably is a good sign for everyone and for us as well. We can take that confidence into the next game. Personally, I’m quite happy with the game. There are things we can do better. We’ll go into the next game with the same mindset and take things step by step.’
